Abstract:
Objective to establish a HPLC method for the determination of BIS-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine in sunscreen. Methods Alltima C18 column (150 × 4.6, 5 μm) was used with the mobile phase of 5% tetrahydrofuran acetonitrile solution at a flow rate of 2.5mL · min ~(-1), the detection wavelength was 340 nm. Results The excipients did not interfere with the determination of BIS-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine, the linear range of BIS-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine was 10.1~201.4 μg · m ~ L ~(-1) and the correlation coefficient was 0.9997. The RSD of precision and stability was less than 2%, and the RSD of repeatability and recovery test was less than 3%. Conclusion The method is simple, accurate, sensitive and specific, and can be used for the determination of BIS-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine in sunscreen.Key words:
